Challenge: Outdoor cellular service was poor in the new urban area, but zoning restrictions prohibited mobile carriers from deploying a traditional cell tower.
Solution: To meet zoning requirements, ITT deployed TE Connectivity’s FlexWave™ Prism distributed antenna system to provide mobile coverage and capacity with unobtrusive, pole-mounted remote units. The system installation was quick and service was widely improved for subscribers of Vietnam Mobile Services (VMS).
Selected projects are Phu My Hung satellite city and Ciputra Hanoi International City.
